Guidelines for Test/Interviews
Please note the following instructions and guidelines;
A. IN-PERSON TEST AND INTERVIEWS GUIDELINES:
- Admission test and interviews will be conducted at the premises of Institute.
- No extension, retest, re-interview requests will be entertained.
- The duration of the admission test will be 90 minutes. The exact timing will be communicated at a later stage.
- The test will be based on MCQs. These questions are divided into multiple sections. please see the following program-wise marks distribution table.
- List of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on PIDE website on Aug 15, 2024 (evening).
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
- Interviews of shortlisted candidates will be conducted by respective committees.
- We expect that the candidates shall come prepared and shall consult research articles/webinars/videos on PIDE website.
B. ONLINE TEST AND INTERVIEWS GUIDELINES:
- The facility of online tests and interviews will be optional for:
- Students with disabilities.
- Candidates who are residents of Gilgit Baltistan, Chitral, Sindh, Balochistan, or Southern Punjab, and also whose last degree is from an institute in these regions.
- Candidates opting for the online test option are solely responsible for ensuring internet stability. Any interruptions or poor connections will not be entertained.
- No requests for extensions, retests, or re-interviews will be entertained.
- It is mandatory to have the camera turned on during the exam.
- The duration of the admission test will be 90 minutes. The exact timing will be communicated at a later stage.

C. GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION TEST (In-Person/Online)
Please ensure that you carefully read the following guidelines before you appear for the PIDE admission test:
- The admission test will be conducted on Aug 15, 2024, at 9 am sharp.
- Candidates will receive a link to the test a few minutes before 9 am through email. Click the link and it will lead you to the online admission test. Please ensure that the email will be sent to the email address through which you apply to the online admission portal.
- The duration for the test will be 1.5 hours (90 minutes). The portal will automatically close after the allocated time is over. Please ensure that you have filled in all your answers within the stipulated time.
- If you have not received an email containing the link to the admission test, check your junk email folder or social/promotions folders (For Gmail users). If you still do not find the link, immediately contact our IT Department at 051-9248050.
- All questions in the online test are compulsory. Attempt all questions.
- Use of unfair means or non-compliance with the instructions (given in this document or in the examination area) will disqualify the candidate from the test and his/her name will not be included in the merit list of candidates.
- PIDE has a strict plagiarism policy. Ensure that your document is not plagiarized. Failure to comply will result in disqualification from admission process.
- Once you have filled in all questions, make sure to press submit. Your submission will be followed by a confirmation.
- You will also receive these guidelines on your email address through which you have applied to the admission portal.
